In the heart of southeastern Morocco, precisely to the east of the Anti-Atlas range, where the mountains blend into the desert, and the earth breathes in ancestral silence, lies a mythical place: the Sagro Massif. It is not simply a mountain range, but a true masterpiece sculpted by time. Sagro, with its unusual landscapes and mountains shaped as if from a dream, recalls the majesty of the Valley of Monuments in America. But here, the immensity of the desert meets the grandeur of the peaks, creating a setting of unreal beauty. In this breathtaking setting, the eye does not just gaze, the soul escapes and is carried away on a journey to another time, a time of peace, simplicity, and contemplation. For three days, we will escape the hustle and bustle of the world, spending our nights under the starry sky of our mountain camp, where the star is our only lamp and silence becomes a melody. Together, we will climb one of the most beautiful peaks in the region: the summit of Koaouach, a place where the earth opens before you like a book, and where the mountains whisper untold secrets. Sagro is not an ordinary destination... It is an invitation to dive into the heart of nature, to rediscover a part of yourself that you may have forgotten in the tumult of daily life. Program
Scheduled departure points for this tour:
- 📍 5:00 p.m.: Departure from Kenitra in front of the Mohammed VI Mosque (near the Aswak Assalam stores). See on Google Maps
- 📍 6:00 p.m.: Departure from Rabat from the Jewish cemetery parking lot, opposite Rabat Agdal train station. See on Google Maps

- Departure from Casablanca from the east gate of Casa Voyageurs station. See on Google Maps

Day 1 – The village of Tagdilt - N'ouarg Plateau (2,250 m)
• Arrival at the village of Tagdilt.
• Relaxation break.
• Breakfast.
• Meeting between the participants and the team that will accompany us: guides, cooks and porters.
• Start of the hike uphill to Tizi N'iferd (2,400 m), crossing a vast plateau offering a breathtaking view of the High Atlas range, then descent to the N'ouarg plateau (2,250 m), where the first night's camp is located.
• Lunch in the great outdoors.
• Distribution of tents (doubles).
• Snack.
• Friendly evening with group games.
• Dinner. *Note: There is no telecommunications network in the area.
Day 2 – N'ouarg Plateau (2,250 m) - Kouaouch Summit (2,594 m) - Ighli (1,700 m)
• Wake up and breakfast
• Start of the ascent to the summit of Kouaouch.
• Arrival at the summit and a special moment to admire one of the highest peaks of the Saghro massif, with a spectacular panoramic view of the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas.
• Descent from the summit and towards Azib Ighli (1,700 m) via the Tassegdilte pass ((Estimated time: between 3 and 4 hours / Distance: 12 km / D- 900 m / Difficulty: 2/5)).
• Lunch on the way (picnic).
• Arrival at the camp in the afternoon.
• Rest and snack.
Friendly evening with group games and dinner
Day 3 – Ighli - Afourar Gorges - Bab N'Ali ("Monkey Fingers" Rocks)
• Early morning wake-up.
• Breakfast.
• Start of the walk towards the valley and the gorges of Afourar, before turning towards the famous rocks "Monkey Fingers", emblematic formation which makes the fame of the Saghro massif. Arrival on a vast plateau (Bab N'Ali).
• Arrival at the refuge and lunch.
Use of local transport – 207 – for the return to Tagdilt.
• Return trip.
