Located in the province of Taounate, the Asfalou Dam is a true natural and strategic jewel in northern Morocco. Fed by the waters of the Asfalou Wadi, itself a tributary of the Ouargha Wadi, this site offers a striking spectacle where the water winds through narrow gorges before flowing into a vast turquoise lake. The dam, with a capacity of over 300 million cubic meters, plays a crucial role in irrigating agricultural land, supplying drinking water, and generating hydroelectric power. Day 1 – Oued Asfalou
🛤️ Distance: 5 km
⏱️ Duration: 2 hours

- Arrival in the region and settling into camp.
- Wake up and traditional breakfast made with local natural products.
- Start of the hike towards the descent towards the Asfalou wadi
(It is recommended to wear a thermal jacket – neoprene wetsuit – and suitable hiking shoes)
- Arrival at the Asfalou dam and swimming in turquoise-hued freshwater lakes, with the possibility of a kayak trip.
- Return to camp.
- Lunch (local meal).
- Family evening with the Werewolf game and other group games.
- Dinner.

Day 2 – Oued ourgha (Ghdir hama)
🛤️ Distance: 12 km
⏱️ Duration: 4 hours
🥾 Elevation gain: -200 m
- Wake up to the panoramic view and have breakfast.
- Departure for a 3-hour hike in the oued ourgha (Ghdir hama) and swimming in its magnificent nature and natural springs winding their way to the heart of Parc yafrane (a 3-hour hike at an average pace/easy level with several breaks to appreciate/admire the panoramic views)
- Lunch.
- Return trip.
