The Yagour Plateau, or “Land of Happiness,” is a name that perfectly captures what it feels like to visit this breathtaking region. Perched at an altitude of up to 2,500 meters above sea level, in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains, this magnificent plateau is full of natural riches, as well as remarkable cultural and human heritage. It is a destination that delights both nature lovers and history buffs, inviting them to discover its captivating charm. As always, we have prepared a unique hiking itinerary to leave no corner of this exceptional place unexplored. And to top it all off, we opted for a night in a tent, under a sky dotted with millions of stars, to fully enjoy the magic of this extraordinary place.
Program
Scheduled departure points for this tour:
- 📍 5:00 p.m.: Departure from Kenitra in front of the Mohammed VI mosque (near the Aswak Assalam stores). See on Google Maps
- 📍 6:00 p.m.: Departure from Rabat from the Jewish cemetery parking lot, opposite Rabat Agdal train station. See on Google Maps
- 📍 7:30 p.m.:
- Departure from Casablanca from the east gate of Casa Voyageurs station. See on Google Maps

Day 1 – 12/04/2025: Yagour Plateau
• 02:00 : Arrival in Arbaâ Tighdouine and check-in at the hotel.
• 07:00 : Wake up, breakfast at the hotel.
• Take local transport (4x4 or minibus 207) towards the village of Warzazat.
• Start of the hike towards the Yagour plateau, passing by astonishing rock engravings dating back to 6000 years BC.
• Arrival at the Yagour plateau and installation at the camp.
• Lunch.
• Free time on the plateau (team games, football matches, etc.).
• Snack.
• Werewolf game and other team games.
• Dinner.
*Note: On the Yagour plateau, no telecommunications network operates.
Day 2 – 04/13/2025: Setti Fatma
• 07:00 - Wake up.
• Breakfast.
• Start of the hike to Setti Fatma.
• Arrival in Setti Fatma and lunch by the river.
• Departure for the return journey.
